"An Anglophile Adventurer"
I'm a recent University of St Andrews graduate and San Francisco transplant. My perfect day involves a great book, a new and unfamiliar place, and the international section of the New York Times. And lastly, I'm a big believer in technology's power to help us solve some of the most pressing issues of our time!
Lululemon Athletica, the Canadian yoga and activewear apparel brand, places strong emphasis on goal-setting for all areas of its employees lives to cultivate a more enriching and supportive work environment.
Hi Jessica, Thanks for sharing your very personal story. As an optimist, I'd like to believe that there is always a second chance in life to get back at missed opportunities. Perhaps you can bring dance back in to your life in some way! I think it is interesting that you chose a different, perhaps safer life path during your studies as I believe my college years were personally the most formative in my life thus far. The decisions made during my four years will greatly impact my future career. I think your example highlights the importance of finding a way to help foster students' confidence during these years of higher education, something to definitely keep in mind during this challenge!
This is a wonderful story Joshua, I'm so glad you shared it as it brings back conversations with my own dad. Your father sounds like an amazing and supportive man. While I have yet to have kids, I hope that when I am a parent, I can instill the same hardworking ethic in my children that ultimately will help them to live fulfilling, successful (and hopefully creative) lives!
