I love this idea! There's a ton of potential in this solution to help people feel valued. One day of gratitude is impactful, but an entire week could allow for more depth beyond mailing notes. Each category of staff can have their personalized means of gratitude. The students can prepare special lunches for the cafeteria staff. The coaches or management can also get personalized treatment. Maybe the students could also wear a t-shirt advertising Gratitude Week. The note mailing can be reserved for retired staff.
This is a very interesting idea! I believe it is important to have a diverse pool of ambassadors in order to cultivate meaningful gratitude. Recruiting diverse ambassadors could be difficult for the larger corporations you are targeting. You want to make sure you take advantage of all the talent available. Going in with a marketing plan could help; developing supporting material and awareness efforts to advertise the leadership role will pay off since a variety of advertising medium can dramatically increase the likelihood that the perfect ambassador could apply.
