I like this because it modularizes the material, where as other ideas, you need to design a whole product from scratch in order to make work. I could totally see a branded material like this being sold at home depot.
To add on to this idea, I would love to see this idea include research on government tax breaks you could get for a licensing agreement to let home depot use nike's branding to sell materials, while both companies could get tax breaks if they can offer the price low enough to compete with non-recycled items.
The inability to explore majors significantly adds to the cost of college in that it takes longer to find the right major, and the longer you are in college, the more money you have to pay.
For the people who cannot afford to spend the time to find the perfect major, many just randomly pick one that other's suggest, even though its not the best fit. For this case, I would say that the opportunity cost of not picking the right major is very high.
