Thank you Ana. This is my email: LFVIBBI@gmaill.com. Please send me a message so we can connect. I am very much interested in what ecoViva is doing in El Savador and I believe there is a lot to learn from your experience dealing with mangroove trees.
Hi Ruth, People eat breadfruit in this community. The fruit is casually roasted or boiled/steamed occasionally for consumption; even though for the most part, the large quantities of the fruits did go to waste before our project. It may interest you to know, that our project was first to showcase that the fruit can even be processed into powder form and can be used to make baby formula. Our project has succeeded in showing additional ways that the community can consume the breadfruit. Hence, overall, the trees that were once seen to be occasional food trees, are now regarded crucial provision of nutritious food for under five children.
Hi Ezra, I visited treesthatfeed's website and they are doing an amazing job. Thanks for supporting them with planting efforts. I can vividly see your organization supporting us in the future, with planting and mapping of these breadfruit tress here in Sierra Leone with the exclusive and niche focus on fighting malnutrition in children five and under. Please email me on how to get started officially on partnership with your organization. I sent you an email before but still let me leave my email. LFVIBBI@gmail.com Thanks and looking forward to working with you as well.
