@ Mike Niconchuk,Behavioral restraint is an approach used to manage violent or self-destructive behavior. Yes, the peace talks will cause youth to question the use of violence. This led to our theory of change which make us believe that successful implementation of peer education through the involvement of youths as peace ambassador will promote peace and return prosperity into northeast in Nigeria. For example, if we train youth leaders in negotiating skills, they will become more effective advocates for their interests through nonviolent means”. Or, “If we generate jobs for unemployed youth, they will be less available to be recruited to violence. Or if youths are trained in peacebuilding skills, it will be difficult to be recruited as Boko Haram or ISIS.
