I am passionate about:
UX research and design, education (and access to it), sailing (I'm a newbie), banjos, and pho.
A little known fact about me is:

UXDesigner and writer with a background in the arts and education, including working with non-profits and for civic-minded projects in multiple roles. Last summer I had the fortunate experience of working as one of eleven full-time programming interns for the tech company, Basecamp (https://m.signalvnoise.com/what-we-learned-while-hiring-the-basecamp-summer-internship-class-3fc019f85165) and later on their support team. I learned more about UX design and realized it's a great fit with my long-term interest in forms of storytelling, so I'm now contributing to Designlab's curriculum.
Hi Kate and Joanna, I'm sorry I missed your messages. Our 13-year old lab had a medical emergency on Friday night that required taking her to the ER hospital yesterday and some extra TLC this weekend. She's getting better, but I've been admittedly off line the last 48 hours. I'm happy to send the prototypes within the hour and will email to Kate. Thank you!
Hi Kate, Thank you for the kind note and encouragement. It means a ton. :) I'm working right now on more UX-related research and design so I can further explore this idea. If it'd be helpful to connect about this IDEO challenge, I'd be happy to talk with you and/or Devendra Natekar anytime. Thanks again to you and everyone who's helping to bring attention to dementia through this particular OpenIDEO challenge.
