Hi @Brian Blankinship, thanks for this. It looks very thorough. I was just pointing out to another commenter that this is the way juice is packed all over Costa Rica, and even some other countries in Central America. I no longer live there, but would be interesting to know how they dispose of the plastics.
Interestingly enough, it's the way all juice shops sell their drinks in Costa Rica! I knew the machines were made somewhere in Asia but didn't see them in Japan. How does Costa Rica deal with it, I would like to find out.
