I am always happy to hear, when someone wants to give a new start or a new life to people, who has lost their way in this life. I feel that prisoners`family members should be included to this work as well. I am not so aware about that topic. But, I can imagine, if female prisoner had do leave behind more children, who are over than 6 years old, and do not have possibility to see them just because of destroyed relations with her relatives. It can also make new start easier and reduce woman`s fear in case of her relative wants to harm her after she had left the prison.
There was mentioned that "There has been a steady rise of single mothers who are serving time with no support from their own families in many Turkish prisons over the years." They had not received any support, but maybe they had to face ongoing mental abuse by their families. And we cannot forget that these women came from the society, who created them and directed them to make mistakes, which leaded them to prison. Therefore, I truly believe that prisoners`family members should be also involved to this project to spread at least peace between prisoner and her relatives to avoid future conflicts.
