Hi Chuck, -- Great question! Our intended application for our solution is in urban and suburban settings where there’s already a great deal man-made materials. Given the density of Grindlets, we expect them to largely stay in place (like rocks). That said, we plan to work with the users to ensure that Grindlets are appropriately applied and landscaping edgings are used a barrier to keep them in place. Additionally, since Grinlets are made of rubber, should these materials make their way into other landscapes, we expect them to decompose in about 50 years.
