Hi Lauren. I picked up your post sitting in the front row of the George Brown year end fashion event. We submitted our entry hours before the deadline so I could bring my zero waste garment to the show. I'm also a student in the college's new post graduate Sustainable Fashion Production program. Make sure you check out the Rick Mercer video link in the Scale section - you'll see the StopGap process that we are iterating on. Luke Anderson is an engineer and offered his support to our entry, or to anyone who wants to build ramps for inclusion. Our team includes industrial design members and product development pros. We will address the step-by-step when we get the Grind material - take us to the next phase! Also note, we are a 4 member team but I could not list all members. Two have now formally registered on the OpenIDEO platform - can they be added?
Daniel thanks for your comments. We initiated ideation from a social lens focusing on a need for Grind. Until we move up to the next phase, we won't have the composite to understand the constraints - which is why the industrial design members took a spectrum to choose from. Thanks for the tip on the polymers, and I'll check on the Nike MSI to see what research Nike has already shared about their materials.
