Thanks for your question and your interest in our idea. My name is Nadja of WithoutViolence and we are collaborating with the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance to empower community advocates supporting migrants.
We are planning on working with 2 cohorts from different countries in year one. It would entail one opening workshop per country, distant learning and support throughout the year, as well as a final workshop that will bring together the cohort participants to share experiences and contribute to the community building among key actors in the field. We would evaluate the lessons learned of year one and hopefully increase the number of cohorts for following years.
Our experiences and lessons learned from the 'Voices from the Field' Fellowship, with 11 different organisations across the world, will inform this project. You can find more information on the Fellowship and the external evaluation here: http://www.withoutviolence.org/fellowship/. Furthermore, the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance builds on a social service network and the experience of social service workers worldwide to implement this project.
Feel free to reach out if anything is unclear. Best, Nadja
