Since its launch in 2010, OpenIDEO has become more than a collaboration platform for social good – it's evolved into a place for everyone to learn and build skills in design thinking, open innovation and more.
Over the last few years we've heard from faculty and students eager to bring OpenIDEO's challenges and process to campus. Through multiple collaborations and experiments with educators at all grade levels and around the world, we've learned that OpenIDEO challenges can offer a powerful opportunity to bring to life the topics of design thinking, online collaboration and open innovation in the classroom in a truly meaningful, hands-on and inspiring way.
While we're starting to understand which subjects, grade levels and classroom moments map best onto OpenIDEO challenges, we'll admit we're still learning. If you're open to being part of our continued experiment and would like to collaborate to explore how education and OpenIDEO can fit together, we'd love to have you join us. Sign up below to join our Educator Community and we'll keep you in the loop as new challenges and new tools for educators go live.
As we say on OpenIDEO: always in beta! We look forward to you joining us as we continue to experiment toward our goal of enabling everyone to design better, together.
