Importance of breastfeeding

The nutrition of a child is essential, because the babies can develop strong and healthy life, besides this they can develop their social, cognitive and psychological side. Unfortunately many parents who are in cities with low economic resources, found difficult to feed their children healthily. Several scientific studies have proven the power of breastfeeding process. It has been shown that breast milk has unique nutrients that strengthen the baby and ensure a better tomorrow. Unfortunately because of the processes of globalization, this practice has been abandoned and forgotten by many parents. Today the children's feeding is based on a formula, which canĀ“t never equal or surpass the nutritional value of breast milk.

Today the children's feeding is based on  a formula, which can´t never equal or surpass the nutritional  value of breast milk.

Breast milk has antibodies that protect the baby from viruses and infections, babies that also feed on this type of milk can better develop their intellectual. The psychological benefits are many too, a bond between mother and child is strengthened, less depression postpartum for the mother, and minor personality problems for the baby. On the other hand it is an economical way to feed the children and of course contributes to the environment, because the production of milk requires artificial chemical processes. How to return to these cultural practices that have been replaced by technologies unfriendly to humans? What methods should be implemented so that each family has access to healthy nutrition. What tools are needed for this important cultural practice will be taken up again by the people?
