Guardian's literacy level and poverty as determinants to underfive physical, cognitive and social development

Poverty and illiteracy are the main obstacles in the proper care given to underfive children. This situation downplays the important role early childhood education play in the development of a child. The children's education is not even considered until later stages of a child's development making them unable to fully comprehend what is tought in schools during later years. Most parents and guardians would rather direct their meagre resources to food and older children's needs at the expense of little ones. They dont see the relationship between pre-school involvement with the ability learn without difficulty in later years

Pre schools are considered a waste of money and are generally for the rich and education class of society.Students that attended pre-school exhibit superior social and cognitive skills.
