Designing food.

The idea is to design the food which is given to low income children by govt, NGOs etc. The food could be something like a fortune cookie which can be broken and inside that there will be a picture or a simple message which will teach the kids something.

Organisations which are supporting low income communities and their children can use food as a medium to teach the kid basic on healtcare , cleanliness, life skills etc . The kid will be eager to have the food because of the surprise which is hidden in the food.

Who will benefit from this idea and where are they located?

Children from low income communities who have access to food from some organisation.

How could you test this idea in a quick and low-cost way right now?

Find an organisation which makes food for low income communitity children. Design a form for the food which can contain some kind of paper with a message. (example a cookie ) design messages which are import to teach a kid and make picture explaining them

What kind of help would you need to make your idea real?

inputs from other members . Is it feasible to do something like this? feedback from all kinds of people

Is this an idea that you or your organization would like to take forward?

  • This idea is meant to inspire. I hope someone else takes it on!

very good idea for children in this way will be able to learn more about food and more about life.

Reinventing food for the best use of them is one thing to bear in mind , since this way children will learn and be fed.

Great idea! did you see this post from the research phase?

Perhaps "Project Peanut Butter" could be the organization that would support producing a product with your messages on the packaging. The Ready to Use Therapeutic Foods would be excellent vessels for health information/nutritional instruction.
