As I grow, where are you in my journey?

This will focus on equipping mothers and fathers with the basic information using mobile clinics or outreaches. It will be mobile to enable listenership from all members of the target community; girls, boys, women and men. The mobile van will be equipped with video plays, music and spot messages which will be played as the vehicle moves within the target area. Use of this will help reaching out to many people including people with disabilities. The camping method will be employed whenever the van is stationed to allow constructive dialogue on the information that has been aired out. This dialogue will be between the community members and health workers who will be part of the van.

Platforms like ANC at health facilities are used to pass on information to the mothers, but really do men come along with the women for ANC. Men are the decision makers in a home thus they play a key role in ensuring that the mother is fine and equipped with all she needs to support a child grow right from conception.
Use of mobile camping, ensures that appropriate areas are mapped in the targeted community to ensure men participation and also listenership.
The mobile van will be equipped with videos, and instruments like generator or solar panels, screen, DVD player and loud speakers. On the van there will always be a DJ and support staff to help in setting it up whener these a camp and also as it moves. These staff will also help in ensuring that the van operates according to expectation.
There will be collaboration with teh district to ensure that the van is always provided with health workers  to offer the necessary services whenever a camp is set.
The information to be aired out will focus mainly on the following;
  1. myth about conception and child birth
  2. Myths about food and children

  4. HIV and breatsfeeding
  5. Illnesses in babies and infants
