What specific problem(s) are you trying to address? (300 character limit)

The project will address young school girls who’s are under risk for unhygienic reproductive health practices due to lack of knowledge and logistics.

What are some of your unanswered questions about the problem(s) you are working to address? (500 character limit)

Most of the school girls are not aware about hygienic product regarding menstrual / period. They are using old cloth / sari for that management. They feel shy to disclose or discuss about the issues. Education on menstrual hygienic and reproductive health can reduce the risk and illness.

Who are your end users? (1000 character limit)

The end users of the project are school girls age between 11-21 years. Who lives in rural area. The target people do not have easy excess to information and material (sanitary napkin). Through the project intervention targeted girls will be educated on menstrual hygienic and reproductive health. Their parents will be also aware regarding the issues to take care them. Materials will supply them to make used to. The project targeted area is Niamatpur upazila under Naogaon district of Bangladesh. This is remote and less develops area where a number of Santals tribal people are largely seen here. There are 116 institutions has been teaching there. From this about 22,000 girls will be addresses under proposed project. Almost same number of parents will cover through achieve the project goal.

To ensure school girls will be educated on menstrual hygienic, used to use hygienic material and reduce risk in reproductive health. School girls and their parents will be feel free to discuss and make decision to maintain hygiene.

When school girls knows how to maintain hygiene and use hygienic material in menstruation they become self confident and mentally satisfy. General people become aware about menstrual hygiene also.

What's different about your idea compared to current solutions? (500 character limit)

Currently girls are using unhygienic materials during menstruation and they have no knowledge on its necessity and risk. But knowledge dissemination and access to hygienic materials will make a difference in their life.

The end users will ensure a healthy life. They will gather knowledge easily without hesitate from female trainer group and they will not feel disgrace to buy and use hygienic material.

The project will have a monitoring plan followed by logical framework and theory of change. Goal and objectives will be assess using indicator.

To select the end users a field level survey will conduct and campaign shall be done there. At last orientation will provide to the end users.
