We are all impacted somehow by the products and innovations of Silicon Valley. I was fortunate to listen to a few talks and presentations by leaders of Aging 2.0, an organization on a mission to accelerate innovation to improve the lives of older adults around the world. Presentation highlights included older adult engagement and older adult participation in the startup culture. I came away thinking how amazing it might have been for older adults who might not have normally worked at technology companies to see the backend of an innovative, intensive culture so unique to the Silicon Valley. In participating in product design or function, there must have been some sense of contribution and satisfaction to improving the lives of older adults. How do we continue and expand on these interesting relationships?

Some interesting information found via the Aging 2.0 Blog.
