Get Home Cooked Takeout Food Delivered Straight From Your Neighbor's Kitchen.

Don't have time to make a healthy, home-cooked meal? With Eatro, a sharing economy start-up in London, you could just order from your neighbor. B Segal, D Kaplansky, and Z Wei are childhood friends living in a small apartment in East London. They work together, eat together, and even sleep together (because money is tight and they decided to rent out two rooms on Airbnb). Eatro, a food sharing site that launched recently. Segal explains that the idea was born of frustration. Friends liked good food, but were sick of the standard takeout options, and they didn't have time or budget to cook for themselves or go out every evening, he wrote in an email. So, they hatched Eatro, which links up people needing a quick plate w/nearby home cooks.

Descriptor above was pulled and from the Eatro website and modified to fit space but i thought their might be an opportunity to blend this idea with "Finding common ground: Share a meal."

Hi. When I read your post this "eatwith.com" came to mind. It is a program in which one invites guests to their home for a home cooked meal and conversation with new people. I thought this would be great to do when traveling. Now I see it as an opportunity to enjoy a meal with new people in one's home town as well. Might be a great way to enjoy a meal and create new connections between generations locally.
