The White House + Codecademy's Code Summer+ Youth Education program
The White House and Codecademy — an education company committed to creating incredible learning experiences both online + offline — teamed up to get youth learning to code in their summers off.
Codecademy co-founder Zach Sims' says that "coding is the new literacy" — and I couldn't agree more. Their
Code Summer+ initiative launched a few years ago and is based around the White House's
Summer+ and Youth Jobs+ Education program helps to get more kids (and adults) learning to code.
Imagine the employment opportunities that become available for youth who have even basic coding knowledge. Their logic skills alone are invaluable.
