Re-visioned Gap Year
I have taken one long Gap Year (between school and uni) and several smaller ones throughout my career. With the right support and focus I find them to be re-energising and inspiring, and I have always come out with a lot more opportunities than I started with.
But I have often observed Gap Year's just to be a series of badly paid jobs, living at home, until you have earned enough money for a drunken trip to Thailand... nothing wrong with that :) but not necessarily going to get you into employment...

Just a funny one really :)
Could we create a new resource to guide to meaningful / life changing / (insert other word) / career-inspiring Gap Years...
Maybe an actual Guide, or a network (including mentors from the Gap Year Alumni to support), and perhaps even sponsored by organisations that will offer employment at the end.
