STEP INTO SOMEONE’S SHOES

This mission is all about getting out in the world and experiencing how it feels to be an employer or be under 24 and trying to get a job.

This mission is all about getting out in the world and experiencing how it feels to be an employer or be under 24 and trying to get a job.
  • If you are under 24, put on your employer hat and think about how you would interview a young person for an entry level job. What questions would you ask? What skills will you be interested in? Try to interview a friend and report back your experience.
  • If you are over 24,  pretend you are a young person out of work. Look for an entry level position and  once you find a good fit,  have a friend interview you for it. How did you feel?  Report back on what skills, networks and support might have helped a young person get this job.
