Peter, it's exciting to see that you're working on an idea to improve agricultural employment opportunities for young people in Tanzania! I interested to hear more about how this agricultural youth camp will work. For example, how will this agricultural youth camp operate on a daily basis after the land is acquired? How will this idea connect young trainees to full time employment opportunities after the training is completed? Would this idea work with existing farmlands across the region that you are focused on? And are there new innovative strategies that you might apply to this idea?

You might be interested to check out this contribution on the Facebook Farm from the research phase of this challenge . This was a good example of how new strategies are being applied to create new opportunities for young people in agriculture:

Great insights Shane,
Peter very interesting idea. You are talking about bringing university graduates to agriculture, what type of graduates do you think would be most interested in this opportunity? What would be their roles? Are you currently in an area with a booming agriculture industry?
I am also curious to know, how did this idea come about, what prompted the relationship between college graduates and the agriculture industry?
