What are the next steps for implementing this idea?
Coordinate with NGOs.
Briefly describe a user scenario which illustrates the specific need that your idea is trying to solve.
NGOs, corporations, and governments that setup youth (L)earning initiatives most often operate in an academic context. In order for these initiatives to gain the next level of traction, they must enter the consumer space. Our product empowers them to do so.
Complete a User Experience Map. This will help you visualize how a potential end user will interact with your idea. Once you have completed it, upload it using the Upload File button at the end of this form. PDF files preferred.

Who does this idea benefit, who are the main players and what's in it for them?
This product benefits youth, and those trying to empower them. Youth and their champions gain career learning assets backed by rigorous research in coordination failures and matching frictions. To view the current work that most influences our approach please see the works of Davis et al., and Pissarides: http://www.nber.org/papers/w16265 | http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/economic-sciences/laureates/2010/pissarides-lecture.html
How is your idea specifically increasing access to employment opportunities and pathways for young people?
We can't understand the (L)earning of those who are 16-24, without first understanding the (L)earning development of those who are 6-15. While our flagship product is a "kinderpreneur launchbox," it is the first step to understanding how to troubleshoot matching frictions that our 16-24 year old clients experience.
What early, lightweight experiment can you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?
Our first experiment with a local Boy Scouts of America troop has been completed.
What skills, input or guidance are you keen to receive from the OpenIDEO community to help you build out or refine your idea further?
