The Key role of Chambers of Commerce

Since you are referring to jobs at the global level, I could but only think of the role of the Chambers of Commerce who are involved in entrepreneurship throughout the world. In France the Chambers of Commerce also have a key role in working with employers to identify what skills are needed along with giving entrepreneurial opportunities to job seekers. http://www.iccwbo.org/ is the federal body of the chambers of the commerce maybe its possible for them to open a project and give very practical ideas. There is also the JIC - http://www.jci.cc/ which can link young people together at the global level. Both chambers of commerce, agriculture and JCI could cooperate with provate and public partnership projects to identify.

The Chamber of Commerce International in Paris federates all the CC in the world. Most CCs at the national level have an idea about the needs of entrepreneurs and the training possibilities, Therefore, it works in terms of being informed and diagniose the current skills gap. 

Moreover, the International CCI website does not curently refer to global youth employment. It could probably open a project of partnerships with local grassroot actors in order to find / identify concete solutions.

This will help to monitor, measure and evaluate actually what can be done through institutional means as well as how much social innovation needs to happen to cover the entire issue.

Although this is not a new idea, the European Union devised the European Youth Guarantee - http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=1079
that provides support programmes in member states for NEET youth (not in education, employment, training). The scheme coordinates approaches at the European level. As a global idea, it may also be important to involve supra-national federal bodies as sponsors of the project. The EU 2020 strategy also has an overall objective to bring employment to 75% of the overall European population.

Hi Charles. I agree that Chambers of Commerce can be proactive in this area of training youth. I have done via establishing the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia http://www.austcham.lv/ and organised business start up courses as shown in this film http://www.austcham.lv/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=68

But I really did feel like a minority as this is not what Australians in Latvia wanted to do so I pushed on with it at my own expense. I agree there is under untilised opportunity within the chamber of commerce global network. For my project I think they can be a good validating and certifying authority to endorse businesses for my Shopificaching idea.

Be more inventive, loose ideas aren't bad but redirection to something that already exist? How about improvement on venues for events or even creating a public spectacle for more and better enjoyment on being a "tool" to society?

I'm a tool and I find no offence in recongnizing it. Either way you could of done what the other guy did in providing a redirection of the current project that is being taken advantage of.
