Women Who Dress Provocatively, ask for Trouble...
Have you ever heard someone say that some women, or people in general, provoke their attacker by the way they are dressed? I have heard this a lot from several people and it baffles me that people have the idea that someone would want to be attacked. Not every person who is attacked is a female with a mini skirt, nor is she walking at all hours of the night alone. Children, the elderly, and those with disabilities are exposed to these violent acts too. There are a lot of rape myths that must be clarified.
I wanted to open this up for discussion, do women really "ask" for it when dressed provocatively?
I found an article from West Virginia University listing rape myths. You can find this by following the link http://well.wvu.edu/articles/rape_myths_and_facts
