Protective clothing and it's applications.
Recent breakthroughs in fabric technology have allowed for clothing that is not only comfortable, but incredibly strong. Arwear's protective underwear provides a barrier between the user and attacker, with fabric that is resistant to tear, cutting or breaking. Although panned as "anti-feminist", the potential applications and additions to this form of technology could allow women and girls to feel safer in urban environments.
Could we build on the idea of protective clothing, but not on a physical level? Outfits that offer a network in case of emergency's that utilise GPS or microphones to call for assistance.
