No More in Action

The No More Organization is using powerful branding to raise awareness and campaign aggressively against the prevalence of domestic violence in the US. In Birmingham Alabama, UAB students have been advertising the easily recognizable logo of No More and holding events to help get publicity in their area. "The blue "No More" symbol is rapidly appearing on billboards, t-shirts and social media outlets nationwide, according to the campaign web site."

The No More campaign acts as publicity heavy umbrella for smaller anti-domestic violence organizations. Even though No More is essentially a publicity-awarenss campaign, it does an excellent job of creating influence and making the movement to end domestic violence through branding and celebrity appeal. I think it is important that any action taken against domestic violence be well organized, recognizable and accessible, just as No More is.
