Ngo's attempt to spread awareness

Many NGOs often go to remote places to spread awareness and educate women about their rights. Unfortunately this sometimes does more harm that good.

NGOs reach out to women in remove places and educate them about the rights they have. The also motivate them to share their problems with the councillors at the NGO and assure them solutions to their problems. They also teach them to talk back and how they can make their society safer and feel empowered. Most of the women take the advice seriously and try to change their lifestyle and be more confident. NGOs are supported by different sponsors and need permissions from the government for various activities. Sometimes when there are hitches in the system, the NGOs give up on projects half way. This makes the women in those remote areas loose hope and trust in any such organization and Go back into being submissive again.
