This idea was built off of the campaign of "Ban Bossy," which encourages girls at a young age to become leaders despite the stereotypes of girls in leadership roles are considered bossy. I think gender stereotypes start before a child is even born. Associating pink with girls and blue with boys is the norm. Buying girls baby dolls and boys toy guns, promotes the idea of male dominance. Changing these gender images at a young age, before a child has a chance to form opinoins could be the step towards gender equality that this generation needs.
