Games for change | Magic Bus in India
Magic Bus is an organization in India that uses the power of play to create change.
Through a curriculum of games designed to teach life skills (like the one above) the organization is working with 250,000 children across India’s slums and villages through a vast network of volunteer youth leaders.
I love Magic Bus’ approach because it is rooted in joy and positivity. It’s also a great example of engaging boys in creating a more gender-friendly and empowering environment for girls.
What other games and sports-based organizations are having an impact on empowering girls in low-income urban areas? I know
Grassroots Soccer is one in Africa. What would help take these types of programs to the next level?
