Girls are secondary citizens before they are even born, and then if they are lucky enough to enter the world, continue to be treated as less important, and have less opportunity, resulting in less voice.
I really want to see a BRAND boldly stand up for this issue. I have worked in advertisng for the last 20 years and have attempted to get 2 different brands behind it, one from P&G and the other from Unilever - and sadly neither were bold enough about righting this wrong, even though women are their primary target market.
