I work for an organisation GBV Uncovered, working to improve medical and psychological care available to survivors of gender-based violence in hostile conditions such as slums, conflict zones or post-disaster regions. We provide training and support to community workers and grass-roots organisations using technology and diverse expertise sources from around the world.

Our recent idea is to develop a mapping tool for women from urban slums to log in cases of harassment and sexual violence to help each other in avoiding hot spots of this crime and support each other in case of need. Apart from being a practical tool for the women on the ground the app would reveal patterns in occurrences and help the work of the local agencies tackling this issue.
