Get Fresh! Plant it. Eat it.

Adults can learn a lot from kids! At this elementary school in California, students tend to a classroom vegetable garden just steps from their cafeteria.

It's amazing how kids will suddenly want to eat a new vegetable when they help to make it grow!  Employees can learn from these students who begin their lunchtime with a trip to the classroom garden.

Adults don't need to be told what is "good" or "bad" to eat. But how much more delicious and convenient are vegetables you can pull straight from the ground just inches from your desk?

And, imagine an office break with a colleague - standing outside, watering or weeding a community garden. Everyone can do their part to help bring more nutrients into the office!
