Celebrate your failure ( a thought from "Ten Faces of Innovation" )

It is important to understand that failures ensure the way to success. For a start up such failures sometimes could be very disappointing and demotivating. But the never ending journey towards success and prosperity should never stop.

Failures can pull you down and sometimes failure can motivate you to perform better to overcome the failiure.

It is imporatnt to understand that failures ensures the way to success. For a start up such failures sometimes could be very disappoiting and demotivating. But the neverending journey towards success and prosperity should never stop.
This reminds me of the story of a baseball team (in Tom Kelley's book "Ten faces of Innovation") which started celebrating its failures in some form if signature celebration. This motivated the team to perform better and later win the tournament.

Celebrating your failure in an organisation
- Gives you confidence that the whole team is behind you and striving for success even in the tougher times.
- Take ownership of the failure and build leaders within the organisation
- Comeup with alternate measures together.
- Helps you evolve out as a winner in the situation.

In the current time of social and professional networking, startups can share there failure stories in some form of platform with other aspiring startups and become a mentor for these new startups. A clebration will become ritual for the organisation nad this ritual can become a learning classroom for the following startups. A large repository of such case studies can be generated to enable the new players to take better informed decisions in business.
