Converging Virtual and Physical Networks: A European Association of Web Entrepreneurs

The E.C. would create an association which would leverage both a virtual and physical network. An annual conference would be supported by a virtual network to allow the development of robust entrepreneur, supporter, and celebrity relationships.

The idea is to use a two-sided approach to solving the problem. We propose both a virtual and physical networking plan which incorporates social networking and physical conferences to allow entrepreneurs to meet. This will facilitate the desire to both start (at the conference) and maintain a network (on a virtual platform). This type of peer-to-peer exchange will allow people to trade relevant skills, resources, and information about web entrepreneurship.

This idea was developed at the Yale Hackathon.

I like the approach of meeting first in person, then moving on to the web to continue the networking!

Great visualisations Yale Hacksters! Would be great to hear more about what resources would be required & how we might get started.
