There are lots of business schools opening up these days everywhere in the world. B schools should encourage entrepreneurs to launch their business. B schools should organize competitions where people could be invited with their business plans which could be analyzed by professionals and the best plan can be funded so as to get started (B schools could get money from companies who could sponsor the plan, venture capitalists etc.). Also most of the B schools have professors who have corporate experience who in turn can also provide regular advice to the start up. This can be a useful step in every country if taken. Also then some students from the college, as a part of their project work, could be asked to give their ideas for the plan which could be considered by the entrepreneur.

This way lot of youngsters could get motivation to at least try to present their ideas and turn them into a reality.

In my inspiration (http://www.openideo.com/open/web-start-up/inspiration/ciie-fostering-innovation-driven-entrepreneurship/), I have given the example of IIM, which is helping people with their startups. So, I believe that other business schools should also take steps and help youngsters in making their dream come true.

How will your concept support web entrepreneurship?

Every start up needs funding for initiating which can easily be solved through this initiative. There would not be any difficulty as in the case of taking a loan. Also in every start up, entrepreneur seeks guidance as it is a new step. So professors who have been professionals can really help entrepreneurs by frequently giving them advice and guide them by telling real time experiences.

What kinds of resources will be needed to get this concept off the ground and scale it?

- Access to low cost money(company sponsorships, venture capitalist funding etc.) by B Schools - Corporate mentoring - Periodic reviews

How could we get started?

B Schools should take initiatives to make this idea a reality. Also companies and venture capitalists should take interests so as to motivate youngsters to take steps for entrepreneurship. For this B schools should be approached so that they could take the steps ahead.

This is a great idea, but I don't think it should be limited to just business schools. American colleges and universities should teach entrepreneurism, not just academia. Most colleges have general education requirements that ensure students take courses in science, arts, math, language, etc. Why not make it required that every student takes an entrepreneurship course as well? Entrepreneurship can be taught, and there's no reason it shouldn't be required.
