The next universal election platform - Facebook????

Why not build an election platform on an already existing robust system which is used by more than half of USA?

Yes! Facebook! Why not? Half of USA is already there. Take a look at the state-wise statistics here

Facebook apps are not that difficult to build. Why not build a "Facebook Election App". A user can log in using his/her login credentials and using some form of verification can vote directly from that app. The proposed app can have audio-visual help tools and can be made available in multiple languages.

It could be used for the election registration process as well. However, it must be ensured that anonymity in voting is respected throughout the voting process.

It could be accessed using PCs, notebooks, smartphones, iPads etc. This would solve the accessibility problem to a great extent!
