My First Time Voting
Reflection on my first time voting in the 2008 US election
No taxation without representation.
Many potential voters, especially my own younger generation, feel as if their votes really don't matter.

The Voter is # 1
When looking at this issue, we must always remember that the voter is number one. This is similar to a business in which many are moving to a customer-oriented process. We must understand what they see and feel when they are voting.

Overseas Participation
This last Presidential Election was the first I could participate but I couldn't. And even though the whole world was engaged in the US election, it was very hard for US living in other countries to vote!! Going to the embassy and waiting = ewwww!!!
Picture and paper - old fashioned way?
in France some of the most simple way of voting is for presidential and referendum - as the question and answer are simple - no multiple choice questionnaires where ticking becomes random.

Well developed personal opinion is the foundation of an inclusive election process
Disabilities of all sorts make it harder to give the vote on the election day, but the same disabilities also make it harder to follow politics and thus limit the process of forming a personal opinion.

Confused, lazy, and at College
Being an college student out of state might not be a disability per say, but it can feel like one.

[ UPDATED ]Following Voting Initiatives in Mumbai, India
When voting is around the corner, one can't help but notice different initiatives that people take in order to conduct a successful voting. Here is my reportage of live-ongoing events covered via SMS's, newspapers, videos, etc.

You did put your ballot in the poll but you did not vote!
You can PARTICIPATE to the act of voting (putting a bullot in a poll) but it does not mean you did ACCESS to the real process of voting (choose a poll that is representing your priorities, vision, opinion..).

Live Voting Results
"My vote doesn't count" is the reason some Americans won't vote. They don't see the connect between their vote and the final outcome. Live voting results displayed outside of polling stations would show people how their vote counts.
