Urban beekeeping for honey making!

Save the environment, make honey. I first read about urban rooftop beekeeping in an Indie "mook" (cross between a magazine and a book) called Dumbo Feather. Now the trend seems to be growing - and for good reason.

Since I first read about this unusual, yet fascinatingly fruitful practice, the concept of urban beekeeping for future-proofing and the renewal of niche food production has even been reimagined by large multinationals such as Philips. Unfortunately, bees are on the decline, which is frightening because basically, without bees, there is no pollination, and without pollination, there is no fruit, which means... no food. Imagine if we could all make our own honey on our rooftops, instead?
