Designing Dublin 2.0 - Love the City

In the project 'Love the City' five members of the municipal authority and seven full time volunteers, all from a variety of backgrounds, worked together, for six months, with the initiative 'Designing Dublin' to prototype all sorts of solutions to address the current lack of vibrancy and vitality in Dublin's city centre using a co-design (and sometimes empathetic design) methodology. Over 2000 citizens were engaged with through the course of the project and eight solutions to city wide challenges were prototyped. The solutions ranged from pedestrianising streets, to creating places to sit and relax, to communicating to the public how the city worked through the voices of the people who make it work, to setting up creativity networks.

All of the project outcomes can be viewed here
