Livestreaming Video Smartphone Network

A San Francisco startup, Koozoo, is creating a network where people can use their smartphones to create livestreaming video feeds. You'll be able to use an old smartphone as a 24 hour stream, or your current smartphone for this purpose as needed.

You could broadcast video snippets of wherever you are, or a view of what's going on outside your home or office.

Potential applications range from seeing the weather at the beach, checking out the line at cafe, traffic jams on your commute route, or how authorities act during the citizen uprisings in the Middle East.

That last application hints to the interesting possibilities it could have for this challenge.

Interesting inspiration Vincent. I'm wondering if there is a way to use this same idea, with regard to sharing snippets of video work in places that may lack access to the 3G/4G networks that our smartphones function off of. In fact could Koozoo or another company make this applicable to "dumb" phones. I had a inspiration using dumb phones and they might tie together well.
