EXPLAIN YOUR IDEA

Mutual financial help fellow slum communities while strengthening their togetherness. Choosing trustees and meeting are held once a week. each member of a deposit same amount as agreed and given to the most needy members or by a draw and later exchanged numbers for the neediest. Continue to the next round until all the members get a share. The problems faced every day is no money while the needs of so many. Want to borrow to some one, who believe ?? Moreover if some one gives, how to give it back ?? Then gathering a solution. Savings in banks the stakes have to dispose of transportation as well as when it will pick it up. There is also a shame when will queue up and save a small amount. This is also builds a sense of solidarity among fellow slum communities. Topic of climate change and environmental cleanliness can be discussed there. This idea is proven to help a sudden need. Because when receives a sufficient number and when pay it back installments every week. There are a variety of social gathering such as : face of grief or the purposes of marriage etc.

WHO BENEFITS?

Beneficiary is a rundown of their own community who become member, because this is from them and for them. If there is difficulty paying .. just delayed a week. and for the members who pay late, do not fear fines as when borrowing from moneylenders. The amount of funding is also determined together according to ability, so as not to burden.

HOW DOES YOUR IDEA TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CONTEXT OF URBAN SLUMS AND CLIMATE CHANGE?

As they were gathering .. they can discuss various topics including climate change in this gathering they have formed an organizational forum that can speak or suggested anything to the government to ask infrastructure development or some thing. through this gathering they can coordinate on voluntary work to clean up the environment around them, creating ornamental plants, flowers beautify the environment, planting of medicinal plants and herbs for daily use. EXPERIENCE MAPS 11/6. Establish an association in the field of finance for slum so get a quick response. Management and rules must be strict. They will be grouped according to interest work. For example a motorcycle taxi driver. The price of a motorcycle $ 1000. and we will collect the 10 people who are willing to pay $ 100 per month. Drawn to determine who gets the motorcycle for 10 consecutive months. For those who already got the part, the next month will have to pay $ 11 for the anticipation of rising prices and other costs. We will seek if there is funding for capital association so that the members will start a business. Thus slum communities can equip themselves to get out of the winding slums.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

I worked as a volunteer in the field of spirituality for over 20 years, serving in a holistic, everyday work as public relations, design and implement an international seminar and exhibition.

IS THIS A NEW OR RECENT IDEA FOR YOU OR YOUR ORGANIZATION? HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM WHAT YOU ARE ALREADY DOING?

This idea has been implemented for years starts by me grandmother. But during this time this great idea is just spinning away without meaningful progress. Now I want to manage and add fresh new ideas involving global work, so that the community make progress and get out of poverty and slums winding.

HOW IS YOUR IDEA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SIMILAR INITIATIVES? WHAT ARE YOU DOING DIFFERENTLY? WHAT UNIQUE ADVANTAGES DO YOU HAVE?

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR UNANSWERED QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR IDEA?

Is there a charitable foundation that is a strong desire to help the poor slum area that has a program like 911 services? In a sense when there is a disaster in the slums and this foundation can immediately help ?? All I know is should submit proposals and wait at least one year, while the need for them is urgent, such as hunger, infectious diseases in the affected areas. What if they have to wait one year ???

HOW HAS YOUR IDEA CHANGED BASED ON FEEDBACK FROM YOUR COMMUNITY?

What should be emphasized is, in fact they themselves are able to get out of the difficulties that are wrapped around them when they are cohesive. Change of mindset is very important because in general they are passive and pessimistic will be able to change the lifestyle because it is always hit by feeling helpless and hopeless after so long wallowing in slums.

WHAT WOULD YOU ULTIMATELY LIKE TO ACHIEVE WITH THIS IDEA? WHAT IS YOUR NEXT STEP TO GET THERE?

They are generally familiar with the promises of rulers rags when still a candidate to gather votes at election time and once elected forgetting it's promises, even then exposed evicted without compensation. They are generally eliminated by the development of the city that does not require the existence of slums. Given solutions flats but the price is not affordable. And then occupied the land danger to sustain life, the edge of the river, cliffs or steep area, adjacent to a public cemetery. That is why I want to act quickly and appropriately. They must have the impression that there are still people out there who are really care, who can be trusted and be relied. The next is Global work.

How does your idea connect to the broader system of the city where you plan to implement?

With the global work system we will continue to update and adjust following the progress of sophisticating that has always existed and confident. Maintain a cooperative relationship with OpenIDEO with an open and transparent management system.

Hi Eldy,

Our experts have reviewed your idea and below are a few of their questions. We'd love to hear your responses!

We'd be interested to see more evidence of how user needs have been incorporated into your design.

How is your idea different than other savings groups? (http://www.cgap.org/blog/savings-groups and: http://www.wvi.org/development/publication/savings-groups-project-model)

Have you submitted this idea as an individual or as part of an organization? Who will you implement it with?
