Storage of Water Within Limited Spaces
Effective usage of limited resource like space to create enhanced water storage capacity.
EXPLAIN YOUR IDEA
Slums have storage scarcity. Water is essential commodity for survival. In slums water is generally stored in small reused containers of varied sort which can not be stacked over each other. A bunk bed made of recycled plastic and lined can be used for storage of water to last the household about three to four days and can be used for sleeping. will occupy the same space as used for sleeping otherwise. the need is to find a mechanism to create such bunk beds which are sturdy yet cost effective.
Slum dwellers with limited storage space. In my opinion this can be implemented in all households which have a scarcity of space in any setting.
HOW DOES YOUR IDEA TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CONTEXT OF URBAN SLUMS AND CLIMATE CHANGE?
Climate change would also mean far more emphasis on storing adequate water supplies in limited space. These areas do not have regular supply of water and will have to depend on storage.
