EXPLAIN YOUR IDEA

The turbine would provide electricity and motive power. Seeing as it's very easy and cheap to make with basic tools and recycled materials it would ideally be accessible and useful to pretty much anyone anywhere. Full construction tutorial available at: http://solarflower.org/tutorial.php?tut=vawt&lang=en&vqual=yt

WHO BENEFITS?

Anyone who lives somewhere with sufficient wind who wants power from it.

HOW DOES YOUR IDEA TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CONTEXT OF URBAN SLUMS AND CLIMATE CHANGE?

There's not a lot of need for outside bodies to get involved, it's something that people could make and use themselves from resources they already have access to.
