Introduced in Malawi, TALULAR provides a great way to contextualize teaching and learning aids across lesson preparation and implementation. It can be overwhelming for a teacher who is working with minimal resource availability. TALULAR encourages teachers to push beyond the mentality of  limited resources and highlights the wealth of materials that are available within the local community, materials that are used daily in other aspects of life and might not come to mind for use in the classroom. The manual for TALULAR includes a number activities, rich with visuals, dedicated to teacher professional development and construction of aids that motivate and promote student learning and understanding.
