Everyone is a teacher

Every adult knows many things that kids and other adults need to know. Start by taking inventory of the "human capital" in the settlement.

Gain a multitude of teachers of basic, practical, and income-enhancing skills.  Ask the adults about their skills and talents, and honor them by asking them to lead sessions on that craft or skill, probably with another leader.  Schedule and announce to the settlement.  It's true that we learn most when we teach, and this can help us feel empowered and more part of a community too.

Hi Charlie!
I completely agree with you, I think there is a lot of knowledge out there that needs to be harnessed. This is a great capacity building exercise that will empower the refugees as teachers and ensure that everyone keeps learning. Nevertheless, I think without extra resources the knowledge pool or circle would be limited. What do you think?

I would love to hear your opinion on my contribution (link below)
