We love exchanging skills. We have been training both children/youth and teachers through a number of schools and organizations. Our workshops focus on various art forms, and discuss relevant issues with children to develop their social skills. Our arts-based capacity building programs help non-profit organizations to work with marginalized children, youth and women. Our community-based arts integration approach empowers our audience to understand the issues and learn to speak about it through visual arts, photography, theater and puppetry.
Some of the innovative workshops we offer include:
Teachers as Storytellers
Using Film in Education
Improving language skills through Arts
Producing Theater in your school/community
Using Drama in Education
Arts as a process of Rehabilitation and Empowerment for Children youth, Especially Girls and Women.
Through our experience with organizations working in child rights and child protection, we have demonstrated that the collective sessions based on arts play a vital role to open up children, so they can share and express themselves. The process works like therapeutic sessions, where the notion of sharing transforms children and young people. They are open to express and receive ideas, which facilitate them to overcome their fears and regain confidence.
