Lighthouse is working to develop state of the art Resource Centres with E-Learning infrastructure and bring critical innovative thinking by catering Refugees un skilled human resource for an ultimate economic uplift and creating social welfare impact.
We believe any innovation on educational technology should be implemented from bottom to top.
To overcome chronic shortage of teachers, these facilities in school would empower schools to overcome :
• Gender disparity, illiteracy, dropouts
• Lack of Teaching Staff
• Non community contribution for virtual learning institutions
• Non-Interactive Education system
Process:
1- To fund raise used Books and used Computers from Non-Refugee areas.
2- Fix and Make computers operational for use of refugees
3- Set up Lighthouses (Resource Centres)
4- Involve Volunteer Teachers from Remote areas to generate unique content for refugees communities
5- Involve community in aligning educational courses and programs with needs of community
6- Hand over Self Organised Learning environment and Keep a track of progress.
