Mozilla Japan’s Open Source Office

Keeping with Mozilla's mission to provide the world with open source technology and tools, the design firm Nosigner has "...not only created a set of original furniture but an entire 'open source office' using commonly available objects and throwing all the drawings online for anyone to download and reference."

While not explicitly a recycling-centric initiative, there's incredible inspiration to be found in the utilization of freely-available objects many people would relegate to being 'random objects unfit for reuse in other formats'.

There have been plenty of movements in which everyday 'detrius' is retrofitted and reimagined into objects that can be used to better everyday living, but the extent to which Nosigner and Mozilla have documented and made available their process + specifications is remarkable.
